I’m taking a silkscreening class at the Torpedo Factory and LOVE it. Will I be able to successfully replicate the photo emulsion process when it’s over? We’ll see. In the mean time, I’m using the opportunity to crank out as many prints as I can.

a new documentary in the works about the rise of DIY culture, something I’m completely in love with not only for its aesthetic, but because of its grassroots, participatory nature. DIY encourages people to think about the materials around them not just as scenery but as usable parts of a manipulable landscape. Live long, DIY.
