I spotted this book at the public library of all places – it’s enough inspirational material to make you daydream for hours. I disagree with it’s claim that Melbourne is the “heart” of stencil graffiti (can’t we share, y’all?) but it’s still a beautiful book.

I’ve never eaten at Restaurant Florent, but my long-time hero Tibor Kalman designed a series of menus and ephemera for the joint many years ago. The eatery is set to close at the end of next month.

While it doesn’t count as street art, the Hirschhorn Museum gets written up in today’s NYT. DC’s Guggenheim-wannabe is the closest thing we’ve got to a modern or alternative art culture, and the Hirschhorn After Hours actually make me feel like DC has a rightful place at the art community’s table.
The Montreal anarchist book fair is this weekend. For all those in Canada, enjoy the festivities! We’re looking forward to seeing pictures/hearing stories.
